I sent my horse Metro to you after months for very strained collateral ligaments in both front legs. He received stem cell therapy and then, after months and months of frustrating and seemingly ineffective rehab at home that boiled down to primarily stall rest and hand walking, he entered your program. He began using the Aquapacer which allowed him to exercise and gain the muscle strength he needed to help ease the burden on his joints and ligaments while he healed. Eventually, he also began using the giant European walker, which is so large, it didn't strain his legs like lunging or traveling in other small circles would have done. To Mike and Angie: My big jumper, Santana, was moved to Gilroy Gaits after a bad fall when he was badly bruised and hurting. On the advice of his vet. and myself he was moved to Gilroy to use the rehabilitation equipment. He was put on the equiciser on a daily basis, walking and trotting and for different lengths of time. Also, a certified chiropractor was brought in to work on Santana.
